Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) is conducting a five-day online entrepreneurship development programme on dairy industry with the support of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
In a statement here on Wednesday, SK Sahabuddin, programme coordinator, said that the demand for milk and milk products in the country is projected to increase 191.3 million tonnes in 2020. At this rate of growth in the dairy sector, in next decade supply will fall short of the demand.
There are tremendous opportunities for many commercial dairy units in medium and small-scale level. In view of the immense opportunities available in commercial dairy business, FAPCCI has designed a five-day online programme from January 4th to 9th.
The programme deals with various aspects of setting up of dairy farm and milk processing plant and economic parameters connected with them. The objective of the programme is to enhance the knowledge on the important aspects of dairy industry and dairy-based products.
