Milkmen in Ludhiana city have declared to go on strike against the price hike by dairy farm owners  due to decrease in production. The resident of Ludhiana city may find shortage of milk in next few days as the Milk Consumer Association (MCA) has announced indefinite strike from June 11 onwards. MCA consists of milk distributors who collects the milk from farms and distribute it at household level in the city. Post price hike, it is expected that the milk might cost Rs 54 to Rs 56 per kg , however the city supply from other packed brand might not be affected in quantities as well as prices.
