govt gave 2128 crores to telangana for dairy development dairynews7x7

Union Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Purushotham Rupala said that the funds allocated by the Central government for the development of Dairy industry in Telangana in the last 4 years is Rs. 2,128 crores. He said in the financial year 2022-23 Rs. 540.10 crores have been allocated to Telangana through its schemes related to the dairy industry.

The Minister was answering the question raised by MP Dr. Laxman and given the statistics that a huge budget has been allocated for the development of the Telangana state’s dairy sector in the previous three financial years. He explained that the Central government has allocated Rs. 651.05 crores in the financial year 2019-20, Rs. 395.98 crores in 2020-21 and Rs. 542.91 crores in 2021-22 for the Telangana dairy sector.
